Soon we will drive to Calgary, then fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico via Atlanta. There we will board the cruise ship “Viking Sea” for a two week sail. Apparently we will: “Experience picturesque scenery, rich cultures and stunning biodiversity on this voyage of discovery. Begin in lively San Juan before taking in Antigua’s historic charms, St. Lucia’s pristine beauty and Barbados’s colonial influences. Then sail down the majestic Amazon River, admiring its robust plant and animal life and calling on riverside ports steeped in tradition. The journey concludes in Manaus, Brazil with its striking architecture and colorful Old Town”. We then will charter fly from Manaus to Miami and on to Calgary via Toronto. This will be our first trip to South America, which, save Antarctica, is the only continent we have not visited. Bon Voyage to us!
